Originil constructed in 1928, the current hollywood franklin located in the heart of the entertainment industry is an example of creative living. An endeavor to achieve the goal of implementing contemporary design into a significant historic structure established a framwork for the project.

The design aspirations extend beyond the scope of basic architecture resulting in a gradual morphing of the project into a marketing and graphic identity. Through this projection the project offers a catalyst, an armature, and a punctuation mark, which lead to alternate ways of unpacking space.
